Mmmm – Chocolate Coconut-milk Ice cream…Yummy! Did I mention I love Chocolate? and Ice cream? And making huge messes? no? Ah! lemmetellya…

This is the photo that Gemma snapped for the Young Artist’s expo (see previous post).  Amazing composition and frame!! Maybe she will be a famous photo artist – and make tons of money! That would be just nice, you see, Daddy doesn’t want to work anymore =-)

I’ve scanned the printed pics form the art show – did the best I could with adjustments – let me know if you have any comments/requests.

Here she is with her BFF Iris gettin’ down and (quite) dirty in the mud at daycare. No wrestling yet, so no bets accepted.

Here is Gemmi ready for another day at Daycare.

Here she is with some shades she swiped from daycare. I wasn’t as perky this morning, or so happy to start another working day. ugh.

Gemmi carries these two bears all over the place, sometimes even to daycare and back. She likes to wrap them in their own ‘blanket’, which is actually a kitchen cloth. She has named them: the blue one is called ‘Wok’ or something similar, and the other is ‘Giamma’. I’m unclear on the spelling, obviously. And no, I have not the slightest idea where she got these names from. She says ‘This Wok, this Giamma’ while pointing.
As for their ‘relationship’ she makes them kiss, so I guess they are some sort of couple, hopefully unrelated.

These boots were made for walking! And the animal print diaper -rawr!- what a fashion statement. The fuzzy thing there is a towel hanging on the child-corral, not part of said statement.

In this other photo we are trying on shoes at our local Target. While mama tries to shop, Memi loves to hang out by the shoe rack and pretty much try ‘em all. Works for me, easier than chasing her around, and she hasn’t figured out yet to ask me to buy stuff. I wonder how much longer…

Gemmi really liked the rose she got from Daddy on Valentine’s Day! She handled it carefully and smelled it for a while. No, she did not eat it, but did bite a petal off.
